Sometimes it happens

Born in 1992 in Vittoria, Sicily, Daniela Iurato graduated in Visual and Performing Arts, then moved to Ravenna and specialised in Mosaic at the Academy of Fine Arts in 2022.

Mosaic immediately became an expressive necessity and the relationship between body and identity is the focus of her research. Since 2018, she has been developing the exhibition cycle 'Poesie in Tèssere', a series of works created using needle and thread on printed paper. Between the simplicity and delicacy of the materials, the artist presents a reinterpretation of poetic compositions to which she gives new meaning.
